About Us

We are a group of educators providing children with the love and service absent in other schools. For us, the purpose of learning and development is more than acquiring knowledge. From infancy to age 5, we provide our Stars with the mental tools needed to master their own physical, cognitive, and emotional behaviors. They will use these same mental tools to excel in their future academic and personal lives. We have adopted the best practices from Reggio-inspired, Montessori, and Waldorf schools to build a foundation of learning for the world’s future innovators of the 21st century.

Our personal philosophy can be summed up in five points:

1. We believe children are born powerful, competent, and resourceful. A good teacher guides the children in realizing their own power, competence, and resourcefulness.
2. We believe that children will only strive as much as their caretakers expect of them. Because we expect our Stars to achieve much, we provide them with increasingly challenging activities in a fun, safe learning environment.
3. As the saying goes “it takes a village to raise a child.” We believe teachers and parents must work together as one supportive family.
4. We believe our school should serve as a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental place for everyone.
5. We believe that every child is unique and has unique interests. We attentively listen to each child’s interests and tailor our curriculum accordingly.
